Inspire Dynamics 365 Update

July 27, 2021

Hybrid work requires a new way of collaborative thinking and will often surface through new apps and new ways of working. Dynamics 365 is helping to power innovation for every organisation and can help capture ideas whilst in the flow of work. After Inspire, Microsoft has decided to eliminate the extra cost of Dynamics 365 and make it readily available to any Teams user.

With Dynamics 365, you will have the only portfolio of intelligent business applications that empowers everyone to deliver operational excellence and create more engaging customer experiences.

Dynamics 365 enables you to:

Use pre-built applications

Connect Dynamics 365 applications with the systems and tools you already use to add and extend capabilities for your existing solutions.

Connect Solution end to end

Accelerate your business growth with connected business applications to optimize your operations, innovate across teams, and better engage customers.

Rapidly deploy and onboard

Implement your solution and drive user adoption—in days or weeks instead of months—to quickly innovate and see faster results.

Dynamics 365 users are now able to collaborate on customer records within a Teams chat or channel, ensuring faster and more efficient access to multiple apps and data sources. For example, sellers may be able to share sales opportunities, customer history contacts and more, and customer service workers may share case records or trouble shouting steps.

Dynamics users can also add a Teams meeting whilst creating an appointment, enabling them to view key information during the call. The notes recorded during the call will automatically save the Dynamics 365 record and only those with the appropriate permission can grant access to the content.

With greater collaboration requirements due to hybrid work, it is critical for stakeholders to understand when changes to records have occurred. Notifications through Teams will ensure all stakeholders are aware of updates and can be determined to be through specific channels or chats.
